A standard residential installation takes half a day to a full day depending on property size and sensor count. We work efficiently and leave the site clean.
Every sensor tested
Motion detectors, door and window contacts, glass-break and smoke sensors are all tested on the finished system before we hand it over. Nothing is left to be discovered later.

We set the app up and walk you through arming, disarming and checking sensor status before we drive away. Ajax uses the free Ajax app; Paradox uses BluEye (licensed).

What alarm installation costs in Auckland
Most residential alarm systems we install in Auckland land between $900 and $1,400, depending on the brand and how many sensors the property needs. Commercial systems are scoped individually.
- How many sensors. The biggest single driver. Because we quote per sensor, adding or removing coverage moves the price in a way you can actually see.
- Which brand. Arrowhead is the cost-effective option for straightforward residential layouts. Paradox is the hardwired and hybrid choice where reliability and longevity matter most. Ajax is the premium wireless platform.
- Wired or wireless. Wireless goes into an existing home without cable runs. Wired suits a new build or renovation while the walls are still open — talk to us at framing stage.
- Monitoring. 24/7 Alarm Watch monitoring is quoted separately from the hardware and the installation. Ask and we will include it.

Wired, wireless or hybrid?
For most Auckland properties the answer comes down to one thing: whether the walls are open. Here is how we talk it through on the site visit.
Wireless
Nothing has to come out of the walls, so there is no making good afterwards. Ajax sensors run on encrypted two-way radio, are immune to GSM jamming, and get up to seven years from a sensor battery.
Ajax wireless alarmsWired
Ajax Fibra runs on four-core cable — up to 100 detectors on a hub line, runs to 2,000m, powered through the cable so there are no sensor batteries at all, with tamper detection on every line. Grade 3 capable for commercial work.
Wired alarm systemsHybrid
Paradox panels take wired and wireless sensors on the same system, which is useful when part of the property is already cabled. MG5050+ and SP series for homes, EVO series for commercial sites.
