Your alarm goes off.
Someone's already on it.
Professional alarm and CCTV monitoring backed by Alarm Watch — New Zealand's specialist monitoring bureau. 24-hour control room, trained operators, guard dispatch and emergency escalation. For homes and businesses across Auckland.
Not just alarms — cameras too.
Most companies monitor one or the other. We do both. Whether it's an alarm activation, a motion-triggered camera event or a panic button press — our monitoring partner Alarm Watch sees it and responds.
Alarm Systems
Ajax, Paradox or Arrowhead — any IP- or cellular-connected alarm can be linked to the Alarm Watch control room. Activations reach a trained operator in seconds.
- Intrusion & burglary activations
- Fire and smoke signals
- Silent panic & duress buttons
- Medical alerts
- Failure-to-set and open-outside-hours alerts
- Daily health checks (low battery, signal loss, tamper)
CCTV Cameras
Camera monitoring adds a visual layer. When a motion zone trips or an alarm fires, operators can view live footage — verifying the threat before dispatching anyone.
- Video verification of alarm activations
- Virtual guard tours (after-hours walk-throughs)
- Intrusion detection across perimeter cameras
- Footage supplied to police with alarm response
- Ideal for commercial & high-value sites
- Cuts false dispatches — fewer guard call-out fees
From trigger to response, in under a minute.
Here's exactly what happens the moment your alarm or camera picks up something it shouldn't.
Event Detected
Your alarm, sensor or camera picks up an intrusion, fire, panic signal or motion in a monitored zone.
Signal Sent
Within seconds, an encrypted signal reaches the Alarm Watch control room over IP or cellular.
Operator Acts
A trained operator reviews your response plan — verifies via camera, phones your contacts, or escalates.
Response Dispatched
Depending on your instructions: notify you, dispatch a guard, or contact police, fire or ambulance.
Our Monitoring Partner
New Zealand's specialist monitoring bureau — operating from a secure, staffed control room.
The people behind your response.
We don't cut corners on monitoring — it's the difference between a system that beeps loudly and a system that actually protects your property. Alarm Watch is NZ-owned, NZ-staffed, and purpose-built for monitoring. Nothing else.
- No long-term contracts. Month-to-month monitoring — stay because you're happy, not because you're locked in.
- Mobile app control. Arm/disarm, view activity logs, send panic signals and manage contacts from your phone.
- Multi-receiver redundancy. IP, cellular and PSTN — no single point of failure between your site and the control room.
- Custom response plans. You decide who gets called, in what order, and when guards or emergency services are sent.
Residential Monitoring
Peace of mind when you're at work, away on holiday, or asleep at night. If your alarm triggers, Alarm Watch phones you first — then your backup contacts. Guard dispatch available if no one can be reached.
Typical add-on: monthly monitoring fee on top of your alarm install. No long-term lock-in.
Residential Security →Commercial Monitoring
Open/close schedules, managed set times, after-hours CCTV verification, duress buttons and fire integration. Built for retail, offices, warehouses and industrial sites where response time matters.
Add video verification: operators view live footage before dispatching — fewer false call-outs, faster real-incident response.
Commercial Security →Everything a monitored system should do.
Monitoring isn't just a phone call when the alarm trips. These are the features that come standard with Alarm Watch monitoring.
Mobile App
Arm/disarm, view live event history, respond to activations, update contacts and trigger a mobile panic alarm with GPS location.
Silent Panic Button
Keypad, hardwired or wireless panic triggers send a silent signal to operators — who can notify police directly if pre-authorised.
Open/Close Schedules
For businesses: get alerted if your alarm isn't set by closing time, or if someone opens outside expected hours.
Medical & Duress
Medical alarms for elderly or at-risk occupants. Duress signals alert the control room silently without spooking the intruder.
Guard Dispatch
Can't be reached? A security guard is sent to verify the site, secure the premises, and stay until you arrive if needed.
Health Check Polling
Your system talks to the control room daily. Low battery, signal loss, tamper or power issues get flagged before they become problems.
What you get — and what you don't.
A loud siren is a deterrent. Monitoring is a response. Here's the honest difference.
Monitoring isn't for everyone — I'll tell you straight.
"If you're at home most of the time and your alarm has a loud external siren, monitoring might be overkill. If you travel, run a business, or have valuable contents — it's the single best upgrade you can make."
I don't push monitoring on clients who don't need it. When I come out to quote, I look at your lifestyle, your site, and whether you'd actually benefit from a 24/7 response. If you would, Alarm Watch is who I trust with it. If you wouldn't, I'll say so.
Either way — free site assessment, no pressure, no locked-in contracts.
Monitoring, answered honestly.
Monitoring fees vary by system and service level. Basic residential monitoring is typically under $40 per month; commercial monitoring with open/close schedules, video verification and guard response agreements costs more. We'll give you a clear fixed price at quote — no surprise fees.
Not always. Most modern Ajax, Paradox and Arrowhead panels can be connected to Alarm Watch. Older panels may need an IP or cellular module upgrade. We can check compatibility during a site visit — often it's a cheap add-on rather than a full replacement.
Alarm systems are designed to fail safely. Backup batteries keep the panel running during power cuts, and cellular signal path takes over if your internet drops. The control room also gets alerted when a system goes offline — so nothing silently fails.
Yes. Alarm Watch runs on month-to-month terms — no long-term lock-in. If the service isn't working for you, you can stop. We think that's how monitoring should be sold.
Often, yes — especially for commercial policies. Most insurers offer a discount when a premises has a professionally installed, monitored alarm. Ask your insurer, or we can supply a system specification letter you can send them.
Operators follow a verification protocol before escalating — phone calls to your contact list, video review (if CCTV monitoring is active), and only then is a guard or police dispatched. This cuts unnecessary call-out fees and keeps response credibility high for when it's real.
