Level Up Security is a trading name of Level Up Electrical Limited (company number 5704107), a security and electrical business based in Whenuapai, Auckland. “We”, “us” and “our” below mean Level Up Electrical Limited. This policy explains what personal information we collect through levelupsecurity.co.nz, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you fill in the quote or contact form on this website, we ask for:
- Your name — required
- Your email address — required
- Your phone number — optional
- Anything you write in the message field — optional
Please don’t send us credit card numbers, identity documents, alarm codes or other sensitive details through this website. If we need something like that, we’ll arrange a safer way to collect it.
Our web server also records the standard technical information your browser sends on any website visit — IP address, browser type, the pages you looked at and the page you arrived from. That is used to keep the site running, fast and secure.
Why we collect it
Only so we can respond to your enquiry: to get in touch with you, prepare a quote, and arrange a site visit or installation. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where your information goes
- Your form submission is emailed to us and stored in this website’s database.
- This website is hosted by Hostinger. Their servers are located outside New Zealand, so information you send us is stored overseas.
- If you ask us to arrange 24/7 alarm monitoring, we need to pass your contact details to the monitoring provider so they can reach you when your alarm activates. We only do that with your agreement.
Other than that, we don’t share your information with anyone, except where the law requires it.
Cookies and measurement
- Website cookies. WordPress and our caching software set functional cookies that the site needs in order to work.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from bots. Cloudflare receives technical information about your browser for that purpose.
- Google Ads. We advertise on Google. Google’s advertising tag runs on this website and tells us when a visit that came from one of our ads led to an enquiry. It uses cookies. You can manage Google’s ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work, though the contact form may not.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and to keep proper records of work we’ve carried out. If you’d like your enquiry deleted, just ask and we’ll do it.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we aren’t required to keep it. Get in touch and we’ll come back to you as quickly as we can.
