Why we built Level Up
Before Level Up, I spent years in the electrical trade watching the same pattern play out over and over: homeowners quoted a flat-rate "alarm package" by a big company, installed by a subcontractor they'd never meet again, with pricing that made no sense and support that disappeared the moment the invoice cleared.
That's not how I'd want my own home or business handled. So I built Level Up Security to do the opposite — certified, transparent, personal.
Every quote is itemised per sensor, so you see exactly what you're paying for and can adjust the scope to fit your budget. Every install is done by Dane or me — never handed off. And when you call three years later with a question, you're still talking to the same person who installed your system.
The person you'll actually deal with
I'm Joe Mills — director of Level Up Security and the person on the other end of the phone when you call. I'm an Ajax Certified Installer and an authorised Paradox dealer, with over a decade of experience in electrical and security work across Auckland.
I'm based in Whenuapai, West Auckland, and I quote every job personally. No sales team, no lead-generation pipeline, no round-robin of technicians. When you book an install with us, either Dane or I will be the person on your property doing the work — to the same standard I'd hold to on my own home.
